Matt Divis joined Agri-City in 2021. Prior to joining our team, he was a full time Firefighter-EMT in Sioux City, IA for 14 years. He retired from the fire department following an injury. During his service he worked closely with the public helping them in emergency situations and educating them on fire prevention and safety. During his tenure as a firefighter, Matt witnessed families experience the total loss or damage of property due to accidents and fires; as well as the devastating loss of loved ones. Although he can no longer help extinguish fires or respond to medical emergencies, he is excited to help protect people in a different way.
Matt grew up on a small farm outside Clarkson NE. After graduating from Clarkson high school he attended Southeast Community College earning a degree in Fire Science. Matt lives outside Sioux City with his wife Marie and 3 children, Garrett, and twins Carson and Morgan. Matt enjoys hunting, fishing, attending his kids activities, and spending time with family and friends. |
